April 2024 Updates
Moving out of Toronto, starting at Biogenesis, actions indicating priorities
You’re receiving this monthly newsletter because you’ve been a valuable part of my life in some shape or form (or I’d like for you to be 🙂). See this video for context.
Let’s catch up sometime :)
What I’ve been up to 🌱
April was a whirlwind. I moved out of my Toronto condo, was surprised by an incredibly thoughtful housewarming party, and also went to Ottawa to watch my sister win an MVP award at the volleyball provincials (oh and my brother got Athlete of the Year at UTSC) too! So many things happened that I don’t think I had the chance to process yet.
I started a new role as Chief of Staff for Biogenesis, where we’re building software for clinical trial operations. Spent a week in Cali to get to know this extremely competent team, and am very excited to see where this journey takes me. More details to come on this soon!
What I’ve been thinking/learning about 💭
I’ve been asking myself this one question a lot: If everything were to stay the same, what one change can I make to X that will create the greatest positive impact toward that X goal? Recently, it’s been in the case of learning technical basics, reading more on how to build and lead great products, and how to be more healthy.
After this crazy whirlwind of a month, I finally had some time to hang out with a few of my friends and do something as simple as play some basketball. There’s been an overwhelming list of things constantly on my mind as I was preparing through this life transition, and it’s been hard to have a routine. It reminds me of this question: If someone observed my actions for a week, what would they say my priorities are? Honestly, the answer to this is not something I’d be proud of, and something I’m looking to change in the month of May. Back to prioritizing my health, fitness, and balance (outside of work).
Lmk if you are (or know someone who is) working on or thinking about the above!
Personal asks 🙏
Would love intros to anyone who’s running or knows people running clinical trials or sites.
Reach out! It’s been a really busy few weeks, so I may not have been able to catch up with all of you, but please do reach out and we’ll find some time.
Thanks for reading this month’s update. Would love to hear how I can help you this month (maybe I can make some intros, work through some thoughts with you, or otherwise). See you next month 👋

Congrats on the new role! Question #1 is a great one. I'll have to think about that all week.
